The Old Belief Society is a non-profit religious organisation. We have chosen to avoid a corporate board of directors in order to facilitate a more traditional style of governance. Our organisations founding charter created a council that can create and amend bylaws, oversee temple administration, handle Society finances, and uphold individual members of the Society to ethical, administrative, and quality standards.
This page is dedicated to keeping our bylaws and Council activities public and transparent. To that end, it will be updated after each Council meeting (usually two to four times per year) and will eventually include all of the following sections:
Old Belief Society Charter
Commentary on the Charterby Rev. Andrew J. Jacob
Our Governing Council
Past Council Members
New Bylaws(created or amended at the most recent Council meeting).
Current Bylaws
Our Tax Status and E.I.N.
